Mr. Brock brings extensive experience managing and directing companies towards their financial and strategic goals. He is an active Senior Partner of Brightstar Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm focused on investing in closely held, middle-market companies. He has served on numerous boards, including the board of a large specialty industrial maintenance service provider, PSC, LLC, a leading provider of industrial cleaning and hazardous waste management services, Remedial Construction Services, L.P. (RECON), an environmental remediation and geotechnical construction contractor, and Sunny Sky Products, a dispensed beverage company. His introduction to industrial services began when he initially joined a maintenance service company in 1986 and served as its Chief Operating Officer during a twenty-year period of tremendous growth. This growth was fueled by the expansion of the company’s core industrial coatings services into a variety of complementary services such as scaffolding and insulation, and was also driven by the structuring of long-term maintenance alliances with key customers. Under his and his brother’s guidance, the business became a leading multi-craft maintenance service provider in the industry and in 2006 was sold to a private equity investor, after which Mr. Brock served as Chairman of the Board from 2006 to 2014. At the end of his tenure as Chairman, the business had grown to approximately 18,000 employees. Mr. Brock is an active philanthropist through the Todd Brock Family Foundation and focuses his giving and service toward Christian causes, concentrating on domestic ministries in addition to laborers in Dubai and orphans in Zambia. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and an active supporter of Business Honors Program at Mays School of Business.
Mr. Brisco brings nearly 30 years of management experience in industrial services with proficiency in strategy, operations, P&L management, business development, and safety. Prior to joining Partner Industrial as a founding member of the team, he served as President of U.S. Operations for a large specialty industrial maintenance service provider. In this capacity, he oversaw all maintenance, turnaround, and capital project activities performed by the company’s 15,000+ domestic workforce representing over $1 billion in annual revenue. He initially joined that company in 1994, working in site management and operations until 2000 when he was promoted to President of one of their primary operating divisions. In 2003, he was named President of two of company’s largest regions, where he managed a tenfold revenue increase through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth over a six-year period. In 2009, Mr. Brisco was named Group President and provided executive leadership for a 9,000-person organization and managed a 15% average annual growth rate. From 2011 to 2013, he served as Director of Global Accounts with responsibility for the company’s international growth strategy, after which he was named President of U.S. Operations for the overall organization. Mr. Brisco began his career at Merico Abatement Contractors, Inc. and is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Mrs. Shepherd brings 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Prior to joining Partner Industrial, she served as Controller for Evergreen Industrial Services, a leading provider of industrial cleaning services to the midstream and downstream energy sectors. As Controller, she was responsible for all accounting-related functions across the company, inclusive of all field and branch administration and payroll. During her tenure, she led the implementation of a new ERP system and several infrastructure process improvements. She was integrally involved in the integration of an acquisition, and she played a key role in the eventual sale of the combined company to a larger private equity sponsor in 2016. Prior to Evergreen, Mrs. Shepherd served as the Controller of a $500 million revenue diversified construction company where she was responsible for all accounting and human resources functions. Mrs. Shepherd began her career in the United States Marine Corps, where she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Mr. Brittain brings significant experience in overseeing operations, quality programs, performance management, and asset management. Prior to joining Partner Industrial, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Improvement for Brace Industrial Group, a leading provider of industrial maintenance and construction services. During his tenure with Brace, he led the development and management of corporate performance strategies, including the company’s quality assurance and controls practices, and oversaw their Asset Management Group. Prior to Brace Industrial Group, Mr. Brittain was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Performance for a large industrial maintenance service provider. During his seventeen-year tenure with the company, he led the development and management of corporate performance strategies, operational excellence program, the company’s quality assurance and controls practices, and their Managed Maintenance Programs. Mr. Brittain started his career with Eastman Chemical Company where during his twenty-year tenure he specialized in contracts administration and management, reliability, and quality management process improvements. Mr. Brittain belongs to and participates in several industry organizations including NACE, SSPC, NIA, ASTM, and SWICA.
Mr. Kantor brings over 30 years of experience in the environmental health and safety field. Before joining Partner Industrial, he served as the Texas Regional EHS Manager for a water and wastewater infrastructure company providing safe drinking water and compliant wastewater treatment. Before this, he served a Vice President, EHS, for a large specialty maintenance contractor for 22 years. During his tenure, he performed a significant role in revamping the entire EHS program, OSHA VPP initiatives, and proactive risk management programs. Mr. Kantor served on the Board of Directors for the International Safety Training Council and the local Associated Builders and Contractors. Mr. Kantor is started his career in the United States Army.
Mr. Kahn, a graduate from Texas A&M University, has centered his career around the petrochemical and refining industry. Mr. Kahn has a deep understanding of the capital project, MRO and turnaround environments within the industry. Prior to his current role with Partner Industrial, Mr. Kahn was with nVent Thermal Management and Puffer Sweiven. During his tenure with nVent, Mr. Kahn spent his time in sales operations where he developed and executed turnkey heat management systems. Outside of work, Mr. Kahn is a dedicated husband and father to his wife, Brittany and two children. Mr. Kahn enjoys hunting and fishing when time permits.
